Instructions on Utilizing Repo Order
Completing the Repo Order form is essential for initiating the repossession process. After filling out the form, it is important to ensure that all required documents are submitted to facilitate a smooth recovery of the vehicle. Follow the steps below to accurately fill out the form.
- Company Name: Write the name of the company requesting the repossession in the designated space.
- Address: Fill in the complete address of the company.
- Hold Harmless Lien holder / Legal Owner: Enter the name of the lien holder or legal owner of the vehicle.
- Account Number: Provide the account number associated with the vehicle.
- Customer / Debtor: Write the name of the customer or debtor whose vehicle is being repossessed.
- Vehicle Description: Complete the vehicle details:
- Year: Enter the year of the vehicle.
- Make: Specify the make of the vehicle.
- Model: Fill in the model of the vehicle.
- VIN: Provide the Vehicle Identification Number.
- License Tag#: Write the license tag number of the vehicle.
- TO: Fill in the name of the facility from which the vehicle is being repossessed.
- Legal Owner Confirmation: Confirm the legal ownership of the vehicle by writing the owner's name in the space provided.
- Recovery Agent: Leave the space for the authorized recovery agent blank; it will be filled in later.
- Signature: Sign the form where indicated.
- Name: Print your name below your signature.
- Title: Indicate your title within the company.
- Phone: Provide a contact phone number.
Once the form is completed, print it out and ensure that it is signed. Remember, two Hold Harmless forms are typically required: one for the tow yard and one for the police department. Adjust the "To:" field as necessary for the second form. Fax both signed forms along with a copy of the Title and Contract to the provided fax number.
